A CY-Alert warning has been issued for Paphos, Limassol and part of Larnaca, as strong thunderstorms are expected to affect the areas.
According to the Civil Defence Force, the alert was sent at 13:47 on Wednesday, warning of severe weather conditions.
The message said a barometric low accompanied by strong thunderstorms was expected to affect the region. Winds during thunderstorms could be variable, with strong gusts, while hail was also possible.
The warning is valid from 15:00 on Wednesday until 05:00 on Thursday.
Residents in the affected areas are advised to remain alert and follow official weather updates and safety instructions.
