A weak low-pressure system is affecting the area today, bringing mainly clear skies but with a chance of localised showers.
During the afternoon, locally increased cloud cover may lead to isolated showers or even a thunderstorm, particularly in the mountainous regions.
Winds will be south-westerly to north-westerly, light to moderate at 3 to 4 Beaufort, and locally strong at 5 Beaufort along the southern coast. Seas will be slightly rough, and temporarily rough in the south.
Temperatures will rise to 31°C inland, 27°C on the west coast, around 29°C on the remaining coasts, and 20°C in the highest mountain areas.
Tonight, the weather will remain mostly clear. Winds will turn mainly north-westerly, light to moderate at 3 to 4 Beaufort. The sea will be up to slightly rough.
Overnight temperatures will fall to 18°C inland, around 20°C on the coasts, and 13°C in the mountains.
Looking ahead to Wednesday, Thursday, and Friday, the weather will remain predominantly clear.
A gradual and noticeable rise in temperature is expected, with values climbing well above the seasonal average.
