Speaking to members of the elite contingent in the presence of National Guard Chief Lieutenant General Emmanouil Theodorou, Christodoulides said the honorary invitation to parade with the flag of the Republic of Cyprus on the Champs-Élysées before heads of state and government carries significant symbolism.

He said it also reflects the importance of the strategic partnership between Cyprus and France, with relations between the two countries at the highest possible level.
