37-year-old found trapped among rocks in Konnos dies

The 37-year-old died yesterday at Famagusta General Hospital.

The 37-year-old Greek Cypriot man, who had been found trapped on Sunday in the Konnos area of Cape Greco, died yesterday at Famagusta General Hospital.

According to the Police, the man was found trapped in the area at midday on Sunday and was freed by members of the Fire Service.

He was then taken by ambulance to Famagusta General Hospital, where he was being treated in the Intensive Care Unit. Despite doctors’ efforts, he succumbed to his injuries yesterday at around 5.00pm.
