Police are investigating a serious fight that happened in Chloraka involving several foreign nationals, who according to initial information are of Syrian origin.
According to Sigma correspondent Marios Ignatiou, the incident took place in the car park of a petrol station in the area.
Fight broke out at petrol station
Tensions reportedly escalated under circumstances that are still being investigated, before a fight broke out between those involved.
During the fight, several vehicles belonging to those involved were damaged, including smashed windows and other damage.
At least one person injured
At least one person is believed to have been injured during the incident.
The severity of the person’s injuries was not immediately known.
Police in Chloraka are investigating the circumstances surrounding the fight.
