Car overturns in Limassol after STOP violation, hits taxi

A road crash occurred in Limassol on Thursday night (14/5) after a driver reportedly failed to stop at a stop sign and collided with a taxi, causing the vehicle to overturn.

According to preliminary information, the incident happened under circumstances that are still under investigation by the authorities.

No injuries reported

Despite the severity of the collision, no injuries were reported.

The Cyprus Police confirmed that the crash resulted in material damage only, with all involved parties avoiding harm.

Investigation ongoing

Police are continuing examinations to determine the exact cause of the crash in Limassol, including the circumstances that led the driver to allegedly violate the stop sign.

Traffic investigators are reviewing statements and available footage from the scene.
