Nicosia International Festival closes with Camille O’Sullivan

Date:

The Nicosia International Festival 2026 draws to a close on Sunday 1 November with NIFINALE, a programme of events running from early afternoon until midnight. Alongside Camille O’Sullivan’s performance of Loveletter, the programme includes a free documentary screening and two DJ sets with free admission.

A musical love letter from Camille O’Sullivan

At the heart of the programme is Camille O’Sullivan’s first performance in Cyprus, with Loveletter. At 19:00, the Irish singer takes to the Main Stage at Nicosia Municipal Theatre with songs by Shane MacGowan, Sinéad O’Connor, David Bowie, Radiohead, Jacques Brel and Nick Cave. She pays tribute to artists she holds dear while sharing personal stories of love and loss.

She is joined by her longstanding collaborator Feargal Murray on piano, keyboards and trumpet. Blending song and theatre, O’Sullivan brings a distinct character to each piece in a performance full of emotion, humour and unexpected moments.

“Ravishing, a superb performer and great singer… the star is her singing voice, a deep sultry instrument that might have been created to express desolate love” ★★★★ The Guardian

From an afternoon screening to the closing party

The day begins at 16:00 with a free screening of the revealing documentary The Oligarch & the Art Dealer on the Main Stage. From 17:30 to 19:00, MOHARMY takes to the decks on the Nicosia Municipal Theatre plaza.

After Camille O’Sullivan’s performance, the celebrations return to the plaza. From 20:30 until midnight, SOFRONIS provides the soundtrack to the festival’s closing party. Admission to both DJ sets is free. The outdoor bar will be open from 15:00 until midnight, with food available to purchase from 17:00.

Tickets for Loveletter: Available at more.com and from the Nicosia Municipal Theatre box office. Box office opening hours: Monday to Friday, 10:00 to 13:00. Further information: nif.cy.
