10,851 Honda vehicles recalled due to Takata airbags

Date:

Honda vehicles are being recalled for airbag replacement, as announced by the official importer, according to the Department of Road Transport (TOM).

Specifically, the TOM states in an announcement that, based on information received from Galatariotis Motors, the official Honda distributor, Honda vehicles that:

  • Had valid registration or were declared immobilised as of 14 November 2024 in the Department’s registry
  • Are included in the list published on the Department of Road Transport’s website

are subject to recall(s) for the replacement of Takata brand airbags.

The Department of Road Transport strongly advises against using these vehicles until specific instructions are provided by the manufacturer’s distributor.
