Dam levels at all four reservoirs in the Larnaca and Famagusta districts were higher than during the corresponding period last year, according to measurements by the Water Development Department on 30 September.
Kalavasos dam reaches 21.8%
Kalavasos Dam has a capacity of 17.1 million cubic metres. Total water inflow since 1 October 2025 has reached 4.204 million cubic metres, while the stored volume stands at 3.734 million cubic metres.
The reservoir is currently 21.8% full, compared with 12.9% during the corresponding period last year.
Lefkara and Dipotamos also show higher levels
Lefkara Dam, with a capacity of 13.85 million cubic metres, has received a total inflow of 1.742 million cubic metres since 1 October 2025.
Its stored water volume stands at 2.402 million cubic metres, putting the reservoir at 17.3% capacity, compared with 14.8% last year.
At Dipotamos Dam, which has a capacity of 15.5 million cubic metres, total inflow since 1 October 2025 has reached 3.772 million cubic metres.
The stored volume is 4.017 million cubic metres, with the reservoir at 25.9% capacity, up from 22.9% during the same period last year.
