A motorist has been arrested in a Paphos drink driving case after being found behind the wheel with an alcohol reading of 79, almost four times over the legal limit of 22.
Paphos Traffic Police made the arrest on Wednesday during a coordinated operation aimed at preventing road collisions and tackling traffic offences.
84 traffic offences reported
The Paphos drink driving arrest came during an operation conducted between 16:00 and 22:00 in the Peyia and Polis Chrysochous areas.
Police reported a total of 84 traffic offences during the operation, while one vehicle was impounded.
Two people were also arrested over outstanding fine warrants.
