Limassol: Officer arrested for stealing confiscated scooter

A police officer in Limassol has been arrested after allegedly stealing an electric scooter that had been seized as evidence.

According to information, the scooter was being kept at a police station in the city as part of an ongoing investigation.

Members of the Limassol Police Directorate placed the officer under arrest in connection with the case.

The officer is expected to be suspended from duty, while the circumstances surrounding the incident will be investigated by the police authorities.
