Striking images were captured today in Larnaca, where a waterspout appeared as Cyprus continues to experience severe weather conditions, with an Orange Warning in effect for strong thunderstorms.
The severe weather has already begun causing problems across the island. Disruptions have been reported on the road network, power outages have affected several areas, while a lightning strike on a warehouse in Avgorou sparked a fire.
