A fire caused extensive damage to an industrial premises in the Aradippou Industrial Area on Tuesday evening, according to the Fire Service.
The Fire Service said it received the call at 7.09 pm. The blaze broke out inside the premises, which was not operating at the time, and was brought under control at 7.39 pm.
Five fire engines and a telescopic articulated vehicle from fire stations in Larnaca district and the Special Rescue Unit (EMAK) responded to the incident.
No people found trapped
Fire Service personnel searched the interior of the premises following the Aradippou fire but found no trapped people.
The building and part of its contents suffered extensive damage from the flames and heat.
The scene remains under police guard pending an investigation into the cause of the fire.
