Paralimni: 22-year-old German drowns in pool

A 22-year-old German national has died in a drowning incident after he was found unconscious in a swimming pool at an apartment complex in Paralimni, Famagusta district.

The young man was found floating unconscious in the pool in the morning and was taken by ambulance to hospital, where his death was confirmed.

A post-mortem examination was carried out on the man’s body and found that his death was caused by drowning.

The results of laboratory tests are still awaited.
