A fire broke out in the early hours of Monday in Dali, destroying two motor vehicles and causing extensive damage to a third.
According to the Fire Service, a call was received at 3:32am. One of the vehicles was parked on a public road, while the second was inside a covered garage at a residence.
Both vehicles were completely destroyed by the blaze, while a third vehicle that was affected sustained extensive damage.
Fire brought under control
The Acropolis Fire Station, “Sergeant Spyros Ttanti”, responded to the scene with two fire engines.
Firefighters brought the fire under control at 4:02am.
The cause of the blaze will be investigated by the Fire Service in cooperation with the Police.
Initial indications point to a deliberate act.
Authorities are continuing their investigation.
