Limassol: Abandoned building demolition to close part of avenue

A Limassol road closure will affect the southbound section of Omonia Avenue from its junction with Vasileos Pavlou Street from August 17 to 20, 2026.

According to an announcement by Limassol Municipality, the closure is necessary to allow demolition work to continue on an abandoned building on Omonia Avenue.

The road will be closed to pedestrians and vehicles from 5am to 8pm on each of the four days.

Drivers urged to follow diversions

Diversions will be clearly marked with signs at the work site.

Limassol Municipality thanked the public for its understanding and cooperation during the works.
