Over €2.3m allocated to upgrade road network in Larnaca

Larnaca Municipality has announced that its total investment in road maintenance and upgrades for 2026 has now exceeded €2.3 million, including VAT.

The municipality said the projects will contribute to improving the condition of the road network, strengthening road safety and enhancing the quality of life for residents and visitors.

Larnaca Municipality has signed a contract with Iacovou Construction Ltd for milling and resurfacing works on roads across the municipality.

Works to begin immediately

The contract is worth €758,566, including VAT, and forms part of the wider road maintenance and upgrade programme covering the municipal districts of Larnaca, Livadia and Voroklini.

The works are expected to begin immediately and be completed within 2026.

More than €1.6m in works completed

The new contract adds to road maintenance projects already completed during 2026.

According to the municipality, those completed works have a total value of €1.61 million, including VAT.

Together with the new contract, Larnaca road upgrades and maintenance works for the year have brought the municipality’s total investment above €2.3 million.
