Six new benefits added to gov.cy digital service

Six additional social benefits and allowances have been added to the digital service “Find benefits you may qualify for”, increasing the total number of available schemes from 45 to 51.

The benefits service allows citizens to quickly check whether they may qualify for state support by answering a short series of questions online.

New benefits added to platform

The newly added schemes include:

  • Housing scheme for the revitalization of mountainous, near the buffer zone and disadvantaged areas
  • Housing scheme for the revitalization of specific rural areas
  • Support for residents of mountainous communities
  • Support for residents of remote areas
  • Renovate-Rent Housing Scheme
  • Allowance for pensioners with low income

More services to be added

The service is available through the government portal, gov.cy, and will continue to be expanded with additional state benefits.

Authorities said the platform aims to make it easier for citizens to identify available support measures and access information about potential eligibility.
