A rare and striking scene was captured by Sigma TV’s correspondent in Paphos when an F-16 flypast unfolded behind a professional fisherman near the entrance to the city’s harbour.
The dramatic moment lasted only a few seconds as the fighter jet suddenly appeared on the horizon before making a low pass across the sky, creating an eye-catching spectacle.
Fisherman caught by surprise
Professional fisherman Panikos Papapetrou was out at sea in his boat when the aircraft unexpectedly flew past.
His surprise was clearly visible in the video, which captured the unusual encounter against the backdrop of Paphos harbour.
