Police investigate overnight gunfire

Police in Paphos are investigating a shooting incident after gunshots were fired at the entrance of a house in Tremithousa.

According to preliminary information, the shots were reportedly fired at around 03:45 in the early hours of the morning, while police were notified of the incident at approximately 07:00.

The property is occupied by two residents, aged 38 and 41.

Crime scene sealed off

The area has been cordoned off as investigators examine the scene.

Further inquiries will be carried out by the Paphos Criminal Investigation Department (CID), with assistance from the Forensic Investigation Service.

The circumstances surrounding the incident remain under investigation.
