The acclaimed singer and entrepreneur dazzled in a striking blue fur coat paired with an oversized hat from the Christian Lacroix FW02 collection. Her look was elevated with leather opera gloves, black high-heeled pumps, and glittering diamond jewellery.
A$AP Rocky opted for an oversized navy suit, complemented by a red tie that highlighted his modern aesthetic. During the event, he received the Cultural Innovator Award, stating on stage that it “means so much” to him.
Honouring excellence in fashion
Anna Wintour presented the Outstanding Achievement Award to Tom Ford. In his speech, the designer paid tribute to London, describing it as “the most inspiring city in the world.”
A standout moment of the evening was Alex Consani, an American model, becoming the first transgender woman to win the Model of the Year award, as reported by CNN.
In her acceptance speech, Consani dedicated the award to “Black trans women who fought for the space I stand in today.” She went on to emphasise:
“Now, more than ever, it’s essential to have meaningful discussions about how to genuinely support and uplift each other in this industry, especially those who have been made to feel insignificant. Change is not just possible—it’s necessary,” she stated, holding the award presented by Ashley Graham and Nava Mau.
