A shooting incident is under investigation after unknown suspects opened fire at the offices of a company located in Zakaki, Limassol, on Franklin Roosevelt Street, early on Thursday morning.
Police said the attack was reported at around 8 am, when employees arrived at the premises and discovered shattered glass.
Gunfire damage to glass panels
According to the Head of the Limassol CID, Kostas Michail, examinations at the scene confirmed that the company’s offices had been hit by multiple gunshots.
The bullets appear to have struck glass panels on the balcony area, causing significant damage.
Investigators believe the shots were fired at around 4.20 am.
Suspects fled on motorcycle
Initial findings suggest the perpetrators were two individuals who were riding a motorcycle at the time of the attack.
No shell casings were found at the scene, with police assessing that the suspects likely collected them before leaving the area.
CCTV footage under examination
Investigators are currently reviewing closed-circuit television footage from the building and surrounding area in an effort to identify those involved in the Limassol shooting.
Authorities confirmed that this is the second time the company has been targeted by criminal elements, although the previous incident was not officially reported to police.
The investigation is ongoing.
