Cyprus weather will be generally clear on Tuesday, although locally increased cloud cover is expected to develop after midday.
According to the forecast, isolated showers cannot be ruled out over mountainous areas during the afternoon. Winds will initially blow weak to moderate at 3 to 4 Beaufort, while exposed coastal areas may experience temporarily strong winds of 4 to 5 Beaufort.
The sea will be calm to slightly rough.
Temperatures will rise to 33°C inland, 28°C along the south and east coasts, 26°C on the west and north coasts, and 22°C in the higher mountains.
Clear skies overnight
Tonight, conditions will remain generally clear, although periods of increased low cloud may affect coastal areas.
Later during the night and in the early morning hours, patches of light fog may form locally, particularly inland and in eastern parts of the island.
Winds will ease to light levels of 2 to 3 Beaufort, while the sea will remain calm to slightly rough.
Temperatures will fall to 16°C inland and along the northern coast, 18°C in the remaining coastal areas, and 12°C in the higher mountains.
Stable outlook through Friday
The weather is expected to remain mainly clear over the next three days.
Temperatures are not expected to change significantly through Friday, with warm and stable conditions continuing across Cyprus.
