Police are investigating a shooting incident in Agios Theodoros after unknown individuals reportedly opened fire on a vehicle.
According to Sigma correspondent Elena Louka, the vehicle belongs to the owner of a local agency business.
Earlier vehicle fire in same area
The shooting comes after a separate incident earlier in the day involving a vehicle fire near the same community in the Larnaca district.
The car had been parked in an open area close to Agios Theodoros when it caught fire during the morning hours.
Police examining both incidents
At this stage, Cyprus Police said investigators are not linking the two incidents.
Authorities continue examinations at the scene while inquiries remain ongoing into the circumstances surrounding the reported shooting and the earlier vehicle fire.
No injuries have been reported so far.
