Child abduction: New video from Turkish father claims “he missed his father”

A new video has been posted on social media by the Turkish national accused in the child abduction case involving his young child and the child’s mother.

The suspect is believed to have fled to the occupied areas after allegedly taking the child from the mother in Limassol.

In the new footage, the child appears to be playing with a toy car while sitting on the father’s leg.

The video was accompanied by the caption: “He missed his father very much.”

Earlier, the suspect also uploaded a photograph showing the child asleep.

Allegations made by mother

According to the mother’s complaint to SigmaLive, the suspect travelled to her residence in Limassol district in a rental vehicle accompanied by a 53-year-old man.

The suspect allegedly attacked the woman and attempted to drown her in the swimming pool before taking the child and fleeing the scene.

Police are investigating the case, while an arrest warrant remains active against the suspect.

Videos reportedly sent to mother

Following his alleged escape to the occupied areas, the man reportedly uploaded multiple videos featuring the child on social media.

According to the complaint, he also sent the material directly to the mother, telling her she could travel to the occupied areas if she wished to retrieve the child.

The Limassol child abduction case continues to attract widespread public attention as investigations remain ongoing.
