GR: 14-year-old boy accused of sharing video of 12-year-old girl

Date:

In Heraklion, a mother has filed a complaint with the local Crime Investigation Division, alleging that a 14-year-old boy recorded an encounter with her 12-year-old daughter and shared the footage on social media platforms.

According to the mother, her daughter had consented to the recording of the video but not to its dissemination. The 14-year-old is now facing charges for distributing explicit material, while his mother has been charged with neglecting the supervision of a minor.

The case highlights growing concerns about the misuse of social media among young people and the legal consequences of such actions.
