Clash between foreign groups turns violent
Around 8 p.m. yesterday, a violent incident occurred in Limassol involving two groups of foreigners, specifically Iranians. The clash resulted in three individuals being hospitalised, one of whom suffered gunshot wounds to the legs.

Authorities confirmed that one person involved in the altercation allegedly drew a firearm and fired multiple shots. Police intervened quickly, preventing further escalation.
Six arrests made, investigation ongoing
A total of six individuals were arrested in connection with the incident. The Limassol Police are conducting a thorough investigation into a possible attempted murder case. Authorities are examining the motive and circumstances surrounding the confrontation.
Police spokesperson Michalis Michail reported that around ten people were involved in the altercation. During the incident, a 32-year-old allegedly drew a pistol and fired multiple shots. Authorities indicated that the participants had some political disagreements related to the situation in Iran. However, investigators confirmed that espionage is not suspected.
