Two injured in crash near Ayia Thekla exit – Fire service intervenes

Two individuals were taken to Famagusta General Hospital following a crash on the Ayia Napa–Larnaca motorway, just past the Ayia Thekla exit.

Fire Service responds

The Fire Service reported that at around 16:28 on Wednesday, 11 March, a call was received about a road collision on the Ayia Napa–Larnaca motorway in the Famagusta district.

The Famagusta Fire Station “Lochia Adamou Adamou” responded with a vehicle and rescue team to the scene.

Victims transferred to hospital

One person was placed on a rescue stretcher and handed over to the ambulance crew for transport, along with a second individual, to the Emergency Department of Famagusta General Hospital.
