Latest updates from the Ministry of Agriculture

The Cyprus Ministry of Agriculture reported that a total of 37 livestock units now have confirmed disease cases. This number does not include one illegal cattle unit in Leivadia.

New cases identified

Three new cases were confirmed yesterday afternoon following laboratory testing. These involve one cattle unit and two goat and sheep units.

Cases in Dromolaxia

All cases are located within the 3-kilometre zone in Dromolaxia and are considered expected as part of the disease’s epidemiological progression in the area. Authorities continue monitoring affected units closely to prevent further spread.
