Flight cancellations hit 60 at Larnaca and Paphos airports

Regional tensions disrupt air travel

A total of 60 flights to and from Cyprus airports have been cancelled today amid heightened regional tensions following US and Israeli strikes on Iran and retaliatory actions by Iran in other countries.

Impact on Larnaca and Paphos airports

Sources from Hermes Airports confirmed that 42 flights at Larnaca Airport were affected, including 21 arrivals and 21 departures. At Paphos Airport, 18 flights were cancelled, comprising 9 arrivals and 9 departures.

Passengers are urged to contact their airline or travel agent before travelling to the airport to confirm flight status.
