Limassol: 21-year-old hid 263 Captagon pills under bed

Members of the Cyprus Anti-Drug Squad conducted a search at the apartment of a 21-year-old in Limassol as part of an ongoing investigation.

Drugs discovered during search

During the operation, officers found 263 Captagon pills, weighing approximately 44 grams, hidden under the suspect’s bed.

Arrest and investigation

The 21-year-old was arrested on the spot for an indictable offence and taken to the offices of the Anti-Drug Squad (YKAN) for questioning. He provided certain statements which are currently under investigation.

Following the interrogation, he was formally remanded in custody while YKAN continues its enquiries into the case.
