As globalisation transforms the ways goods are manufactured and distributed, time honoured crafts face growing pressure. This video considers what disappears when skilled manual practices are replaced by efficiency and profit driven systems. Beyond economics, the issue touches on sustainability, cultural heritage, and identity, raising the question of whether handmade labour still holds meaning and whether it can endure in a world organised around speed and expansion.
