US President Donald Trump sent a letter inviting Cyprus President Nikos Christodoulides to participate in the Gaza “Board of Peace”, CNA learns.
Government sources confirmed receipt of the invitation for Cyprus to join the 25 founding states.
The Peace Council forms part of Phase II in Trump’s peace plan for Gaza.
It includes states from the Sharm El-Sheikh ceremony attended by Christodoulides.
