Rainfall is expected to return to Cyprus in the coming days, accompanied by a drop in temperatures, according to meteorologist Panagiotis Georgiou.
Speaking on Mesimeri Kai Kati, he explained that a weather disturbance will affect the region from the west through Sunday.
- From this afternoon: Scattered showers are expected, with the possibility of isolated thunderstorms.
- Tonight: Rain and thunderstorms are expected primarily in coastal areas.
- Tomorrow: Showers will be mostly limited to mountainous regions, with temperatures remaining consistent at around 22°C.
Over the weekend (Friday to Sunday), partly cloudy weather is anticipated, with isolated showers and thunderstorms possible.
On Sunday, a strong northerly wind is forecast, leading to a significant drop in temperatures. The thermometer is expected to fall by 5 to 8 degrees, potentially dropping below 15°C.
