The Electricity Authority of Cyprus (EAC) presses ahead with the large-scale rollout of smart meters throughout December.
Affected areas this month
Nicosia
- Strovolos (between Stavrou Ave, Spyrou Kyprianou Ave & Strovolou Ave)
- Both sides of Tseriou, Stavrou & Strovolou Avenues
- Gallou Presvi area
- Lakatamia (between Spyrou Kyprianou Ave and Ippokratous St up to Lakatamia airfield limits)
Limassol
- Limassol – Mesa Geitonia – Agios Athanasios
- South of Agios Athanasios industrial zone (south side)
- Both sides of Agios Athanasios and Georgiou Griva Digeni roads
Larnaca
- Between Griva Afxentiou Ave, Chrysopolitissis St, Arch. Kyprianou Ave and the port roundabout
Famagusta
- Protaras – Prophet Elias area
- Both sides of Protaras–Cape Greco Ave up to Protaras Ave level
Paphos
- Between Poseidonos Ave, Apostolou Pavlou Ave, Agion Anargyron Ave and Melinas Merkouri Ave
Power will be cut for up to 20 minutes during safe meter replacement.
