Britain is strengthening Ukraine’s air defence, Starmer says.

The UK Prime Minister, Keir Starmer, said today at the start of a video conference with the leaders of France and Germany that Britain will send additional air-defence missiles to Ukraine in the coming weeks.

Starmer made the announcement as Ukraine voiced its support for a peace framework with Russia, while stressing that sensitive issues still need resolution in the upcoming meeting between President Volodymyr Zelensky and US President Donald Trump.
