A convicted inmate has reported being raped by two fellow prisoners at the Central Prisons in Nicosia.
According to initial information, the man alleged that he was sexually assaulted by two other inmates.
Following his complaint, police have launched an investigation into the claims. The case is currently being examined by the Nicosia Criminal Investigation Department (CID).
The investigation into the alleged Nicosia prison rape is ongoing.
