Dog attacked a toddler in Phini waterfalls

A serious incident occurred yesterday at the waterfalls in Phini, where a dog attacked a young girl aged two years and eight months.

The child was first taken to Limassol Hospital, and then transferred to Nicosia General Hospital, where she is due to undergo surgery.

She sustained injuries to her legs, but her condition is not considered life-threatening.

The dog has been taken for examination by veterinary services, while the animal’s owner has been arrested.
