A case of arson is under investigation after a motorcycle was found ablaze in a field in Strovolos, Nicosia, during the early hours of Tuesday.
According to police, the incident occurred at around 1:15 a.m. when authorities received information about a fire involving a motorcycle. The vehicle was located in an open field in the Strovolos area.
Members of the Fire Service responded quickly and extinguished the flames.
Preliminary investigations indicate that the fire was set maliciously, suggesting an act of arson.
Further forensic examinations are expected to be carried out today by officers from the Nicosia Criminal Investigation Department (CID) to determine the exact circumstances of the incident.
