Limassol child fell from third floor, taken to Makarios Hospital

A Limassol child fell from the third floor of an apartment building on Tuesday morning, suffering serious but non-life-threatening injuries.

According to police, the incident happened in Limassol when two siblings, aged three and nine, were at home under the supervision of their 19-year-old sister.

Under circumstances still under investigation, the three-year-old fell from a height of about 7.8 metres.

He was transported to Makarios Hospital in Nicosia, where he is being treated for a cranial injury and a lung contusion. Doctors report that his condition is stable and he is out of danger.

Police investigations into how the Limassol child fell are still ongoing.
