Greek rapper 3D has died: Farewell messages from LEX and other artists

One of the most recognisable names in the rap scene of Thessaloniki, rapper 3D (aka Trisdiastatos / Three Dee), has passed away at the age of 41.

3D was a key figure in several influential music groups, including Voreia Asteria (Northern Stars – BOR.AS) and Capital Music. He also collaborated in the group Alytoi Grifoi (Unsolved Riddles) alongside Mikros Klefths and was a founding member of Voreia Asteria, with fellow rappers LEX, Jamal, and Zinon.

He played an instrumental role in establishing Capital Music, having introduced rapper Ypohthonios to music producer Skive.

3D was well known for his freestyle skills and significantly contributed to the rise of younger artists within the new wave of Greek trap, such as Light, Saske, and others. His collaborators and peers posted heartfelt tributes in his memory.
