The Department of Agriculture of the Ministry of Agriculture, Rural Development and Environment announces that as of 26 July 2025, it will begin accepting Damage Declaration applications for damages caused by the wildfire that affected the aforementioned communities.
The Damage Declaration forms can be obtained from the Limassol District Agricultural Office as well as from the Department of Agriculture’s website:
under the section “Schemes and Applications.”
To avoid unnecessary bureaucracy, submitting a Damage Declaration is required only for crops affected by the wildfire that were not declared in the 2025 CAP (KOAP) hectare subsidy application.
Owners, tenants or managers of affected holdings are urged to submit the completed Damage Declaration form no later than 1 August 2025 to the Limassol District Agricultural Office.
Additional submission points will operate especially for the period 26–29 July 2025 (Saturday to Tuesday) at the Community Councils of the following fire-affected villages, between 7:30 a.m. and 2:30 p.m.:
- Agios Amvrosios
- Agios Georgios Sylikou
- Alassa
- Vouni
- Omodos
- Pachna
An additional submission point will also operate in the village of Malia (KEO offices) on the same dates.
If a claimant is unable to submit the Damage Declaration within the deadline due to force majeure, it may be submitted by a representative and, in exceptional cases, by fax or email. However, in such cases, the original signed document must be submitted as soon as possible for it to be considered valid.
Fax numbers: 25306638 / 25338722
