Tragedy in Paphos – 60-year-old man found dead in hotel pool

A 60-year-old man was found unresponsive in a hotel swimming pool in Paphos on the afternoon of Sunday, 25 May.

According to initial reports, the man was pulled from the pool unconscious by other swimmers.

He was transported by ambulance to Paphos General Hospital, where doctors on duty confirmed his death.

The exact cause of death is expected to be determined following a post-mortem examination on his body today.
