Kiosk robbery in Limassol: Cash register stolen

Police in Limassol were alerted to a kiosk robbery that took place in the early hours of Thursday, May 8. According to authorities, the incident occurred around 02:00 a.m., when a man- described as 30 to 35 years old, approximately 1.85m tall, and of strong build- entered the kiosk without wearing a mask.

Upon entering, the suspect reportedly told the kiosk employee, “Robbery, your money!” before grabbing the cash register, which contained approximately €1,500. Due to the suspect’s imposing size, the employee did not resist.

Police investigation underway

The Limassol Police Department is investigating the incident and searching for the suspect. Authorities have asked anyone with information to come forward as the investigation progresses.

Police are also reviewing CCTV footage from the kiosk and surrounding areas to identify the suspect and trace his movements before and after the robbery.
