Minister of Foreign Affairs, Constantinos Kombos, is on a working visit to Rome on Wednesday and Thursday with the agenda of his meetings focusing, among others, on the bilateral relations between Cyprus and Italy, the Cyprus issue and the upcoming Cypriot Presidency of the Council of the EU.
During his stay in Rome, the Minister will meet with Antonio Tajani, Vice-President of the Council of Ministers and Minister of Foreign Affairs, a Foreign Ministry press release says here today.
Kombos will be received by the President of the Chamber of Deputies, Lorenzo Fontana, and will also have a meeting with the Foreign Affairs Committee of the Parliament and with the members of the Italy-Cyprus Friendship Group.
Discussions will focus on the bilateral relations between Cyprus and Italy, issues related to the European agenda, the Cyprus issue, regional developments, as well as the upcoming Cypriot Presidency of the Council of the European Union in the first half of 2026, the press release concludes.
