A severe case of animal abuse occurred on Thursday night in Paphos.
Specifically, residents discovered a dog inside bags, thrown into a rubbish bin in Peyia.
The dog is in critical condition at the hospital.
In a post on facebook an animal shelter volunteer commented: “Probably the worst case of animal abuse I have ever seen. Sealed in two bags and thrown into a rubbish bin. He is in critical condition at the hospital. When will animal abuse in Cyprus stop? When there is proper punishment! This happened tonight in Peyia.”
