75 trees for 75 years: Red Cross launches anniversary initiative

Date:

The Limassol Branch of the Cyprus Red Cross is launching a symbolic initiative to mark 75 years of presence and humanitarian contribution, by organizing a major tree-planting event in the heart of the city. The event, part of the organization’s anniversary celebrations, will take place on Friday, 28 November 2025 at 9:30 a.m., at the Public Square on Aghnanton, Henry Moore and Louis Aragon streets in Limassol.

The goal is to plant 75 trees, representing the Cyprus Red Cross’ 75 years of continuous service to society. The initiative is supported by the Limassol Municipality, with IC Markets Cy Ltd serving as the event sponsor.

The Limassol Branch warmly thanks all supporters and invites the public, volunteers, organised groups and friends of the Red Cross to participate and strengthen the message of solidarity and environmental awareness behind the effort.

For further information, the public can contact the Limassol Branch of the Cyprus Red Cross at 25355104 or via email at [email protected].
