A 69-year-old man was rushed to Nicosia General Hospital with serious injuries, reportedly caused by a sharp object.
According to initial information, the elderly man is believed to have been attacked by his 31-year-old son, who is currently in police custody and being questioned in relation to the circumstances of the incident.
The incident occurred in the area of Agios Dometios, Nicosia, according to the Police.
