39-year-old arrested for car dealership arson in Limassol

A fire broke out in a car dealership in Limassol in the early hours of 25 January 2026.

Investigations revealed that an unknown man broke into the premises, doused the vehicles inside with flammable liquid, and set them alight. The blaze caused extensive damage to seven cars.

Suspect arrested

During the investigation, authorities received a tip implicating a 39-year-old resident of Nicosia. He was arrested yesterday afternoon under a court warrant and remains in custody.

The Limassol CID (TAE) continues to examine the case and gather evidence related to the incident.
