24-year-old arrested for Limassol car arson

Police have arrested a 24-year-old man in connection with a case of Limassol car arson, carried out in the early hours of 1 October.

The fire, which was started maliciously using flammable material, completely destroyed the vehicle, which had been parked in a Limassol neighbourhood.

The 24-year-old was detained under a court warrant and is being held to assist investigations.

Limassol CID continues its inquiries.
